During our recent honeymoon, we enjoyed a unique blend of traditional Japanese hospitality and modern comforts in a serene setting. The spacious room featured a hot spring tub, with a soothing view of the nearby river—a perfect backdrop for unwinding after a day of exploration. We found the ryokan's on-site private baths particularly appealing, especially those nestled in the bamboo grove. The accessibility—no reservations required—encouraged us to indulge at our leisure. Although we were unable to reserve dinner, the riverside breakfast was a delightful experience, showcasing local ingredients, including wasabi, in an array of seasonal dishes. Staff were helpful, adeptly assisting with our inquiries despite some language barriers. The peaceful atmosphere and attentive service allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the local culture.
